Champions League draw....Barcelona to face Atletico Madrid, PSG gets Man city

Hi Dassyb blog readers and sports fans. Thank God its Friday.  After an exciting round of 16, the draws for the quarter finals was just held and more interesting fixtures awaits us.
Well, some intriguing ties there. Barcelona v Atlético stands out for me. They have been
beaten twice by them in La Liga this season but they just have an incredible way of
frustrating teams in Europe. It might not be pretty but it will test the creative and
swashbuckling power of Barcelona’s MSN more than any other tie. As for Manchester City , well, they may benefit from PSG having already won Ligue 1. Bayern have had a habit of switching off once their domestic season has been wrapped up. Will PSG do the same? Man City will certainly hope so. Laurent Blanc’s challenge will be to keep the intensity levels
up until three weeks’ time.

Below is list of fixtures from the quarter final draw.
Wolfsburg v Real Madrid
Bayern Munich v Benfica
Barcelona v Atlético Madrid
PSG v Manchester City
The first legs will be played on 5-6 April, with the second legs played on 12-13 April.

Bayern break Juve hearts in stunning comeback while Barcelona complete last-16 triumph over Arsenal

Hi Dassyb blog readers and football fans. Hope you are having an awesome week?  Two thrilling matches were played yesterday and the UCL live up to expectations after the thrilling comeback of Bayern against Juventus and Barcelona's MSN all getting on the score sheet.  The matches were nothing less of awesome.

Bayern 4-2 Juventus (aet; agg: 6-4)
After Thomas Müller forced extra time, substitutes Thiago Alcántara and Kingsley Coman capped a remarkable Bayern comeback in the round of 16.
Two goals in three extra-time minutes from substitutes Thiago Alcántara and Kingsley Coman decided a roller-coaster UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie in Bayern München's favour, as an initially excellent Juventus display foundered amid a dramatic finale to an already see-saw encounter.

In a direct reversal of the Turin first leg, and at a ground where Bayern had won their preceding nine UEFA Champions League home matches, Juve led 2-0 through Paul Pogba and Juan Cuadrado's first-half goals only to be pegged back just short of the final whistle.

For all Bayern's possession football, the hosts were revived by headers from crosses – Robert Lewandowski's 73rd-minute conversion of a Douglas Costa centre, followed by Thomas Müller nodding in Coman's wicked 91st-minute delivery.

Barcelona 3-1 Arsenal (agg: 5-1)
Neymar, Luis Suárez and Lionel Messi were all on target as the holders reached the last eight for the ninth season running. It was a familiar story at the Camp Nou as Barcelona eased through to a ninth successive UEFA Champions League quarter-final and Arsenal, impressive at times, bowed out in the last 16 yet again.

Neymar's early goal all but ended the tie as a contest, and though Mohamed Elneny's fabulous strike earned Arsenal parity of the night, Barcelona had the last word. First Luis Suárez made it 2-1 in outrageous fashion before Lionel Messi chipped in to complete a 5-1 aggregate win.
Below is list of the last eight teams.  The quarterfinal draw  will be held on Friday. Congrats to all teams who made it this far.
