Liverpool qualifies after a stunning comeback against Dortmund while sevilla survives scare

Hello dassyb blog readers, Hope you are having an awesome week. Breathtaking fixtures were played last night with Liverpool producing a stunning comeback against Dortmund after going 2 goals down and It was instanbul all over again.  Bilbao also equalized on aggregate agaist defending champions sevila but lost on penalties, great fighting spirit from them though. Sharktar defeated braga in a one sided affair match while Villarreal also won at sparta Prague.  Full results and pictures from matches are shown below.

Ist leg quarter finals of the Europa league fixtures were played and beautiful results were recorded with Liverpool surprisingly playing a draw with borrusia dortmund while current champions sevilla continued their couse for 3rd title in three years in the competition after recording an away win against fellow spanish opposition bilbao.  Villareal won at home to Sparta praha while Shakhtar won away at Braga. Europa League draw.... Borussia Dortmund to face Liverpool while Sevilla gets Athletic Bilbao

Hi Dassyb blog readers and europa League fans. Draw for the quarter finals of the Europa League was held and some exciting matches awaits us.  Jürgen Klopp was handed an emotional return to Dortmund with Liverpool while holders Sevilla will Play Athletic Bilbao. La Liga rivals Villarreal meet Czech side Sparta Prague, while Portugal's Braga face Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine.

Europa League results...Dominant Dortmund too strong for Spurs and Liverpool knocks united out of Europa League

Hi Dassyb blog readers and European football ball fans, hope you are all doing great? Wonderful matches were played in the Europa League and exciting results recorded. Liverpool dumped bitter rivals Manchester United out of the UEFA Europa League after earning a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Thursday night to secure a 3-1 aggregate win in the last 16. 

The Reds are now the last remaining Premier League side in the competition after Borussia Dortmund confirmed their dismantling of Tottenham Hotspur by winning 2-1 at White Hart Lane. The 5-1 aggregate scoreline is an accurate reflection of the Bundesliga outfit's dominance over two legs.

La Liga trio Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao and Sevilla also booked their places in the last eight of this season's UEFA Europa League. They were joined by Sparta Prague, Shakhtar Donetsk and Basel.

Europa league draw... Man utd draw Liverpool while Tottenham draws Boruisia Dortmund'

Hi Dassyb blog readers and sports fans, hope you all had a great week. Europa league draw was held earlier today and exciting fixtures were gotten from the draw.
Liverpool will face rivals Manchester United in the Europa League last 16, while Tottenham have been drawn against Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. The games will be played on Thursday, 10 and 17 March. Liverpool's home leg will kick-off at 20:05 GMT with the second game at Old Trafford starting at 18:00 GMT.
Valencia, managed by Gary Neville, face fellow Spanish side Athletic Bilbao, while Sevilla - the winners of the last two Europa League titles - play Basel. The Swiss side's St Jakob-Park ground will host the final. The winners of the tournament qualify for next season's Champions League.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: "You can ask my staff but when they asked me yesterday who I wanted, I said 'Man United'. "I think we have to clear something. We had a good game when we lost 1-0 (in the Premier League in January) but it was not what we deserved. "It gives us a chance to make it better and that is what we will try to do."
United, who have never won the tournament, beat FC Midtjylland 6-3 on aggregate with Marcus Rashford scoring twice on his debut as United won the second leg 5-1.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool beat Augsburg 1-0 on aggregate with James Milner scoring the only goal of the tie on Thursday. The Reds won the old Uefa Cup three times, in 1973, 1976 and 2001. It will be the first time United and Liverpool have faced each other in European competition. The last all-English match in the Uefa Cup or Europa League was Liverpool v Tottenham in April 1973.
Spurs, who beat Fiorentina 3-0 on Thursday to seal their tie 4-1 on aggregate, won the 1972 and 1984 Uefa Cups.
Sevilla - who have won the tournament a record four times - are bidding to become the first side to win it three years in a row. Below is a list of full fixtures from the draw.
